plunger run # 147

Beam dump 2.5 enA

Collimator  0.9 enA

Run Data = /onlineNEDA_00/xData/hil099/run_0035_03-03-2023_00h04m26s/needleRU_i35_0035_0014.caendat

RU : 4.90 MB/s

LF : 8.07 MB/s

Supposed Distance = 10 um

position of the target = 10.5 um

micrometer = 9.2 um

Voltage = 7.93 V

Plunger off set 60 um

Which means we are running 60 um + 10 um (read from position window of plunger) = 70 um.

  43   Fri Mar 3 02:23:45 2023 GJProblems Softwarebuilder gate, TS offsets
Data from current run - 35, with limited beam current and rates - see a recent post by Güray.
BU level, so what we see in Greware (both online & nearline).
Attached is the fold of Germaniums.
It seems way too large to me.
We are summing up the events and then, not surprisingly, having rubbish gamma-gamma matrices.
The gate is 1500 ns, while Ge are not so far away from each other.

Any fixed time differences should be corrected with LF configuration.
Having all Ge, ACS, and Neda TS-aligned at LF level, BU will do a good job with a reasonable short gate.

We need channel-by-channel TS differences.

The data we took and we are taking now can be recovered in terms of this correction later on.

Marcin can build the events correctly from LF level.
Let's try to do so with as short gates as possible and see again the gamma-gamma matrix and neutron-gated g-g
matrix.

plunger run # 116

Earlier:   CUP#6  100 enA

Now: CUP#6   50eNA

Beam dump 1.8 enA

Collimator  0.8 enA

The operator is asked to keep the beam dump current not larger than the present value.

Supposed Distance = 10 um

position of the target = 10 um

micrometer = 11.7 um

Voltage = 7.9 V

Plunger off set 60 um

Which means we are running 60 um + 10 um (read from position window of plunger) = 70 um.

Observed that detectors at theta 143 degrees count most.  Is this because they see beam dump?

  39   Thu Mar 2 23:04:01 2023 GJProblem Fixed HardwareConnection of the plunger cables, grounding, beam read-out for the operators
Notes of the measurements with different conditions are attached.

Conclusion:
What is read out by the operators on the blue cable should be multiplied by 7 to get a real value in enA.
